Actalent in Austin, TX is seeking a Lab Processor to support multiple departments with lab samples. The role requires handling urine, blood, and stool samples, labeling accurately, and ensuring samples are not damaged. You must stand on your feet for the shift and lift up to 50 pounds. This is a contract-to-hire onsite position in Manor, TX.

Pay is $20.00 per hour with eligibility for standard benefits. Preference for candidates near Austin; full onsite work environment.

Job Description

• Place samples in the correct area of the fridge.

• Label samples accurately.

• Handle various types of specimens including urine, blood, and stool.

• Support multiple departments including medical, Chemistry, Microbiology, and Cytology.

• Stand and work on your feet throughout the shift.

Qualification

• 1+ Years of experience working with Machinery OR Warehouse (Lab Environment) is Mandatory

• Must be Comfortable working with medical samples and other bodily samples.

• Ability to lift 50 pounds.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Manor, TX.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
