Job summary

Actalent in Austin, TX is seeking a temporary Laboratory Assistant for 8-10 weeks, with potential for full-time. The role supports lab operations, maintains workflow, and relieves senior staff on busy days.

Hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:30 pm, with a lunch break. You will handle hazardous waste disposal, manage samples (including stool samples) per GLP, operate standard lab equipment, and help keep the GLP environment.

Job Description

Work Environment

The role is based in a laboratory setting where you will assist the lab operations team with the disposal of hazardous materials. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain experience in a large reference laboratory. Successful performance in this temporary role may lead to a full-time opportunity.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Austin, TX.

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
