Job summary

Actalent in Dublin, OH is seeking a Medical Laboratory support professional for a climate-controlled, onsite role in the Columbus area. You will scan sealed patient samples into the computer system, repackage items for shipment, and assist with related duties in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate has warehouse or production experience, a high school diploma or GED, and is available for the night shift 11:30pm–8:00am, Tuesday through Saturday, with overtime potential.

Job description

We are actively hiring for a role to support a Medical Laboratory here in Columbus! This position will involve scanning sealed patient samples into the computer system, repackaging them up to be shipped back out, and performing other related duties. This is a long-term career opportunity and an ideal candidate will have experience from a warehouse, production, or other fast paced environment along with a high school diploma or GED.

This is a highly regulated, climate controlled setting with opportunity for growth long-term. The current shifts available are 11:30pm - 8am, Tuesday - Saturday (plus overtime).

Description

This role will handle organizing incoming samples, scanning them into the computer system, repackaging samples to be shipped out to other sites, and moving samples around the laboratory.

• Scanning samples into the system.
• Performing data entry.
• Processing and sorting samples.
• Inserting samples into appropriate machinery/equipment.
• Packaging them up in the laboratory

Qualifications

• Must have work experience in a fast paced environment such as warehousing or production, but also open to other fast paced work environments where you are on your feet.
• Must have a completed High School Diploma or GED

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.41 - $20.41/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
