The Warehouse Worker is responsible for receiving, storing, and distributing materials, tools, equipment, and products within the establishment.

Wages

The starting wage ranges from $16.50 to $19.70, depending on experience and education.

Responsibilities

• Read customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.
• Convey materials from receiving or production areas to storage or other designated areas.
• Sort and place materials on racks, shelves, or in bins according to size, type, style, color, or product code.
• Fill requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items.
• Assemble customer orders from stock and prepare them for shipment.
• Mark materials with identifying information.
• Record amounts of materials received or distributed.
• Drive vehicles to transport stored items within the warehouse or for shipment.
• Maintain inventory records and physical/bin counts.
• Keep the warehouse and work area clean and organized.
• Assist customers in will-call pickups.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED, or six months to one year related experience/training, or equivalent.
