Job summary

Aerotek is seeking a Warehouse Worker / Logistics Technician in Livermore, CA. This contract-to-hire role supports receiving, storage, assembly, configuration, testing and shipping of technology products in a busy integration center.

The position emphasizes hands-on work, accuracy, and safety in a daytime shift from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Candidates will handle packing, palletizing, labeling, and inventory tasks while updating systems.

Qualifications

  • Experience performing general warehouse labor.
  • Ability to safely operate a hand truck and basic warehouse tools.
  • Proficiency in packaging tasks including boxing, shrink wrap, labeling, palletizing.
  • Capability to handle shipping and receiving with accuracy and detail.
  • Comfort working with physical technology products in a warehouse environment.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and established workflows.
  • Basic ability to update information systems tracking product movements.

Responsibilities

  • Handle the flow of products through receiving, storage, assembly, configuration, testing and shipping.
  • Perform receiving activities, including unpacking and verifying quantities and condition.
  • Re-pack products for storage, assembly, or shipment.
  • Execute slotting and inventory tasks to keep records accurate.
  • Pick products to support assembly, configuration, testing and customer orders.
  • Assist with benching and un-betching by moving products to workstations.
  • Boxing and packaging activities including shrink wrapping, labeling and palletizing for shipment.
  • Participate in physical inventory counts and reconcile inventory as needed.
  • Operate hand trucks and other warehouse equipment to move materials safely.
  • Follow procedures and work directions to maintain efficient workflow and meet deadlines.
  • Update information systems reflecting product movements and status changes.

Job Title: Warehouse Worker / Logistics Technician
Job Description

This role supports a busy integration center by managing the flow of physical technology products through the warehouse and production areas. You will handle products as they move through receiving, storage, assembly, configuration, testing, and shipping, while accurately updating information systems. This position is hands‑on and detail‑focused, ensuring that products are correctly processed, packaged, and prepared to meet specific customer requirements.

Responsibilities
  • Handle the flow of physical technology products through the warehouse and integration center, from receiving to final shipment.
  • Perform receiving activities, including unpacking incoming products and verifying quantities and condition.
  • Re‑pack products according to specifications and prepare them for storage, assembly, or shipment.
  • Execute slotting and inventory tasks to ensure products are stored in the correct locations and inventory records remain accurate.
  • Pick products from designated locations to support assembly, configuration, testing, and customer orders.
  • Support benching and un‑betching processes by moving products to and from workstations where they are assembled, configured, and tested.
  • Perform boxing and packaging activities, including shrink wrapping, labeling, and palletizing products for shipment.
  • Participate in physical inventory counts and assist with inventory reconciliation as needed.
  • Operate a hand truck and other warehouse tools or machinery to safely move materials and items throughout the facility.
  • Follow established procedures and work directions to maintain efficient workflow and meet operational deadlines.
  • Update associated information systems to reflect product movements and status changes across receiving, inventory, picking, and shipping functions.
  • Support general labor tasks within the warehouse and integration center to maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
Essential Skills
  • Experience performing general warehouse labor such as picking, packing, loading, and unloading.
  • Ability to safely operate a hand truck and other basic warehouse tools or machinery.
  • Proficiency in packaging tasks, including boxing, shrink wrapping, labeling, and palletizing products.
  • Capability to handle shipping and receiving activities with attention to accuracy and detail.
  • Comfort working with physical technology products in a warehouse and integration center environment.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and adhere to established processes and workflows.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Work Environment

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
