A leading manufacturer of beverages is seeking a Warehouse Worker to handle materials, ensure compliance with safety standards, and operate forklifts. This role requires a high school diploma or GED, and preferred experience in warehouse operations. Responsibilities and Duties:
Qualifications:
Willingness to operate various types of forklifts is required.
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or GED; or 6-12 months of related experience/training. Forklift experience preferred.
Language Skills:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as schedules, reports, safety rules, and manuals. Effective speaking and writing skills are necessary.
Computer Skills:
Proficient in typing and computer use, including Internet, inventory software, order processing, MS Excel, MS Word, and Office 365. Knowledge of WMS and handheld scanning devices is required.
Certificates and Licenses:
Must obtain and maintain a valid forklift and pallet jack operator's license within seven days of hire.
Physical Demands:
Regularly sit, use hands, reach, and talk/hear. Occasionally stand, walk, and lift/move up to 50 pounds. Vision abilities include close, distance, color, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
Work Environment:
Occasional exposure to wet/humid conditions. Noise levels vary from moderate to loud, requiring hearing protection in production areas.
