Job summary

MSC Industrial Supply Co. is seeking a Warehouse Associate/Verifier in Reno, NV to join a fast-moving distribution team. You will perform daily receiving tasks, inspect shipments, verify items and quantities, and ensure accurate packing slips against P.O. data.

The role includes operating basic equipment, handling transfers, and maintaining safety and quality standards. A high school diploma, basic computer skills, and overtime readiness are required.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills required.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid state driver’s license may be required.
• Willingness to work overtime to meet customer needs.
• Internal certification to drive powered equipment within specified time requirements.
• Internal certification to pick DOT-regulated items if required.
• Physical capability to perform essential job functions.

Responsibilities

• Verify products and match packing slips to P.O. using item and vendor numbers, descriptions, and quantity.
• Inspect boxes for damage or improper packaging; resolve discrepancies.
• Create and apply bar code labels and scan into warehouse system.
• Handle all incoming inter-warehouse transfers.
• Operate basic powered equipment (pallet jack, forklift) to move product.
• Stage product and prepare boxes for put-away bins and racks.
• Train cross-functionally to support business requirements.
• Follow safety guidelines and meet productivity and quality targets.
