Job summary

Garda Security Group in Richmond, VA is seeking Warehouse Vault Attendants to ensure drivers, crew leaders receive orders, schedules, equipment and money safely and efficiently. The role also includes check-in/out of routes, custody changes, paperwork, and operation of scanners and data-entry devices.

Overtime may be required. This full-time position offers benefits and a second/evening shift from 12pm-8pm. Must be 21+, hold a valid license and GED or higher, with appropriate permits as required.

Qualifications

• Must have or obtain guardian and gun permits where required by state.
• Must maintain a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Distribute and receive moneybags, receipts, route guides and schedules to Driver/Messenger and Crew Leaders.
• Verify bulk money and deposits from vault and other sources.
• Track, report and resolve missing or misrouted items.
• Ensure collection of identification cards, fuel cards, route keys, and equipment at end of shift.
• May perform Driver/Messenger or Crew Leader duties as needed.

Job description

Warehouse Vault Attendants are responsible for ensuring that the Driver/Messengers and Crew Leaders receive the correct orders, schedules, equipment and money to service clients in a safe and efficient manner. Vault Attendants are also responsible for check-in and check-out of routes, changing custody of their liability, paperwork, and equipment including handheld scanners and other data entry devices. May be required to perform Driver/Messenger and/or Crew Leader job responsibilities based on operational needs. Full time - Tuesday through Saturday Second/Evening shift - 12pm-8pm Overtime required as needed.

Pay Rate: $17.00 an/hr

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Responsible for the distribution and receipt of moneybags, receipts, daily route guides, route keys and schedules to Driver/Messenger and/or Crew Leaders.
• Verifying bulk money received from the vault, other departments and external sources.
• Assists in tracking, resolving and reporting missing or misrouted items.
• Ensures that identification cards, fuel cards, route keys, deposits, moneybags, receipts, daily guide sheets, change boxes, firearms, monies and other route equipment are collected at end of shift.
• Additional job duties may be assigned as necessary.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Must have all required driver’s licenses and must maintain a satisfactory driving record.
• Must have a high school diploma/general equivalency diploma or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• Must obtain and maintain all required guard and gun permitsper state.
• Must demonstrate clarity and proficiency in oral and written communication.Must be able to communicate effectively in person and by radio.
