Kalmbach Feeds is seeking a Warehouse Utility Team Member for 1st shift in Carey, OH. The role focuses on general warehouse operations, material handling, and maintaining a clean, safe facility.

Responsibilities

  • Operate basic warehouse equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks) after training.
  • Follow safety procedures and report any equipment or safety concerns.
  • Provide flexible support to multiple departments as daily operations require.

About the Role:

As Kalmbach Feeds continues to grow, we are expanding our Utility team to support our busy warehouse operations. We are looking for dependable, hardworking individuals who take pride in maintaining a clean, organized, and safe facility. In this role, you will assist with general material handling, support multiple departments, and help ensure our warehouse remains efficient and well-maintained. If you enjoy staying active, working with a team, and contributing to the overall flow of daily operations, this is a great opportunity to make an impact.

Primary Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Assist with general warehouse operations, including loading, unloading, material movement, staging, sorting, and palletizing
  • Maintain a clean and organized facility by sweeping, mopping, clearing damaged bags, breaking down cardboard, managing trash/recycling, and operating the sweeper/scrubber
  • Support production and packaging teams with material handling and restock supplies as needed
  • Operate basic warehouse equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, carts) once trained
  • Follow all safety procedures and report any damaged materials, equipment issues, or safety concerns
  • Provide flexible support to multiple departments based on daily operational needs
