Job summary

Producers Rice Mill is seeking a safety-sensitive loader/packer to ensure packaged product remains clean and safe. The role involves manually placing air bags in trucks with compressed air during and after loading to protect product quality.

Responsibilities include department sanitation with compressed air, brooms, and scoops, plus manual stacking and wrapping of packaged product. Flexibility for after-shift hours is required, and the position is on-site in a highly safety-conscious environment.

Qualifications

• Must possess basic math skills.
• Must be able to read, speak, write, and understand English.
• Must be willing and able to climb up to 20 feet.
• Must be willing and able to lift up to 100 pounds.
• Must be willing and able to bend, stoop, push, pull, twist, and turn throughout the day.
• Must be willing and able to work in hot and cold temperatures for extended periods of time.
• Must be willing and able to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
• Must be willing and able to wear required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
• Must be willing and able to follow all safety and food safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Keep packaged product clean and safe.
• Place air bags in trucks using compressed air during and after loading to protect product.
• Perform general sanitation of the department using compressed air, brooms, and scoops.
• Manually stacking and wrapping packaged product.
