Producers Rice Mill in Greenville, MS is seeking a sanitation worker to clean and sanitize equipment in mill areas. The role involves dry cleaning with compressed air, sweeping on a defined frequency, and maintaining sanitation records. This is a safety sensitive position with schedule Monday through Friday 4:00 a.m.

SAFETY SENSITIVE POSITION

Description/Job Summary

Schedule: Monday - Friday 4:00 a.m. to 4 p.m. overtime as needed, including weekends and holidays.

Job Summary: Responsible for cleaning and sanitation of equipment in the mill area(s) and equipment by dry cleaning using compressed air and sweeping on a defined frequency. Also responsible for completing and maintain sanitation records.

Basic Qualifications

• Must possess basic math skills, (add, subtract, multiply, divide)
• Must be able to read, speak, write, and understand English.
• Must be willing and able to lift up to 100 lbs. periodically throughout the day.
• Must be willing and able to climb up to 30 feet, as needed.
• Must be willing and able to bend, stoop, push, pull, twist and turn throughout the day.
• Must be willing and able to tolerate working in hot and cold temperatures for extended periods of time.
• Must be willing and able to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
• Must be willing and able to be trained to use man-lift.
• Must be willing and able to wear required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
• Just be willing and able to follow safety and food safety rules.
• Other duties as requested by supervisor.
