Job summary

Producers Rice Co. in Stuttgart, AR is seeking a reliable packaging associate. You will help keep packaging materials clean and safe, verify counts and the appearance of packaged product, and assist with hand packing into bailers, cases, and display boxes.

This is a safety‑sensitive, full‑time role requiring the ability to lift up to 110 pounds, stand for long periods, and work in hot or cold conditions. Training and PPE are provided, and overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• Must possess basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide).
• Able to lift and stack up to 110 pounds safely.
• Able to climb up to 4 feet and bend, stoop, push, pull, twist and turn.
• Able to tolerate hot and cold temperatures for extended periods.
• Must stand and walk for extended periods and wear PPE as required.

Responsibilities

• Insure packaging materials are kept clean and safe.
• Maintain quality product counts and appearance before, during and after packaging.
• Manually stack and wrap packaged product up to 110 lbs.
• Hand package product into bailers, cases, and display boxes.
• Perform general sanitation tasks (dry cleaning, sweeping, blowing, etc.).
