Job summary

Foster Farms in Traver, CA is hiring for a Utility Person - DP0758 at the organics feedmill. The role is full-time and on-site with a base pay of $18.89 per hour, plus $1 for evening shifts and $2 for overnight shifts. You will manage housekeeping, inventory, and material handling to support mill operations.

Qualified candidates should be self-m starters, able to lift 50 lbs, and comfortable with heights and operating the Repete system and forklift. Weekend shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• Must be self-starter and work with minimal supervision.
• Able to adapt to working at heights from 40 to 170 feet.
• Good computer skills and ability to learn the Mill's Repete Operating System.
• Must learn to operate a forklift and perform basic calculations.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work flexible, rotating shifts, including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Perform general housekeeping of receiving and production areas to meet OSHA standards.
• Keep accurate warehouse records and inventories.
• Receive bagged ingredients and track warehouse inventory.
• Load bags to the 3rd floor for mill operators.
• Gather and distribute supplies for other departments.
• Fill in as needed in other departments and operate receiving/production areas when directed.
