Job summary

Foster Farms in Traver, CA is seeking a Utility Person - DP0758 to support receiving and production areas at the Traver Organic Feedmill. Base pay is $18.89 per hour, with an additional $1.00/hour for hours between 7:00 pm and 11:59 pm and $2.00/hour for hours between 12:00 am and 4:59 am.

This is an on-site role with shifting hours. You will perform general housekeeping, track inventory, receive bagged ingredients, load bags to the 3rd floor for mill operators, and assist other departments as

Qualifications

• Must be self-starter and work with minimal supervision.
• Must adapt to heights of 40 to 170 feet.
• Must have good computer skills and ability to learn the Mill's Repete Operating System.
• Must be able to learn to operate a forklift.
• Must be able to perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to work flexible, rotating shifts, weekends.

Responsibilities

• Perform general housekeeping of receiving and production areas to meet OSHA standards and maintain a minimum dust level.
• Keep accurate warehouse records and inventories.
• Receive bagged ingredients and track the warehouse inventory.
• Load bags to the 3rd floor for the mill operators.
• Gather and distribute supplies for other departments (i.e. gloves, batteries, sample cups, etc.)
• Other duties include general housekeeping, help out and fill-in as needed, or as instructed by management, in other departments such as the operation of the receiving and/or production departments.
