Job summary

C&S Wholesale Grocers, LLC is seeking a Backhauler for our Bethlehem, PA distribution operation. You will unload trailers, receive product, and move pallets using forklifts and pallet jacks as part of a fast-paced team.

Starting pay is $18.00 per hour with incentive pay and weekly payroll. Top performers can earn up to $25 per hour through performance incentives. This full-time 3rd shift role offers benefits from day one and opportunities for career progression.

Qualifications

• GED or HS diploma required.
• 1+ year experience operating material handling equipment.
• Strong safety awareness and adherence to procedures.

Responsibilities

• Receive product, record dates and break down pallets.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks and clamp machines to move merchandise.
• Move pallets from dock to correct aisles and keep warehouse stocked.
• Perform safety inspections and complete required forms.
• Maintain pace to prevent truck backlog and assist team.

Position Overview

As a Backhauler, you will work in a team of 3-5 team members to unload trailers of products keeping the warehouse stocked with product for our customers.
This is a fast-paced role, perfect for energetic individuals who are highly organized and like to stay active.

Job Description

• Starting pay $18.00/hour plus Incentive pay
• WEEKLY PAY
• Top Performers can earn up to $25/hour through performance incentives
• Full Time, 3rd Shift
• 125 N Commerce Way Bethlehem, PA 18017

You will contribute by:

• Receiving product, recording code dates & breaking down pallets of product according to appropriate receiving procedures
• Utilizing forklifts, electric pallet jacks and/or clamp machines to move merchandise
• Maneuvering pallets of product from the dock to correct aisles
• Moving at a fast pace to prevent backlog of trucks and/or product
• Performing equipment inspections & completing appropriate forms
• Occasional safe lifting of varying case weight, shape, and height levels

What’s a great way to stay in shape?

• Continually Standing, bending, pulling, lifting, pivoting up to 90% of shift
• Walking on various surfaces including concrete, tile, carpet, etc.
• Frequently lifting of product weighing between 1 - 60 lbs. or more
• Frequent lifting of product ranging from floor to overhead
• Possibility of working on multiple levels of varying height
• Safe handling of sharp objects including box cutting tools
