Job summary

C&S Wholesale Grocers is hiring a Backhauler in Bethlehem, PA to unload trailers and keep the warehouse stocked. The role uses forklifts and pallet jacks to move products, with a fast-paced, safety-focused team environment on 3rd shift.

Starting pay is $17.50 per hour with incentive pay, and top performers can reach $25 per hour. Benefits, weekly pay, and training are offered from day one at this location.

Responsibilities

Job description

Position Overview

As a Backhauler, you will work in a team of 3-5 team members to unload trailers of products keeping the warehouse stocked with product for our customers. This is a fast-paced role, perfect for energetic individuals who are highly organized and like to stay active.

Starting pay $17.50 / hour plus Incentive pay. Top Performers can earn up to $25/hour through performance incentives. Full Time, 3rd Shift. 125 N Commerce Way Bethlehem, PA 18017.

Responsibilities

• Receiving product, recording code dates & breaking down pallets of product according to appropriate receiving procedures
• Utilizing forklifts, electric pallet jacks and/or clamp machines to move merchandise
• Maneuvering pallets of product from the dock to correct aisles
• Moving at a fast pace to prevent backlog of trucks and/or product
• Performing equipment inspections & completing appropriate forms
• Occasional safe lifting of varying case weight, shape, and height levels
• Continually Standing, bending, pulling, lifting, pivoting up to 90% of shift
• Walking on various surfaces including concrete, tile, carpet, etc.
• Frequently lifting of product weighing between 1 - 60 lbs. or more
• Frequent lifting of product ranging from floor to overhead
• Possibility of working on multiple levels of varying height
• Safe handling of sharp objects including box cutting tools
