Malace|HR is seeking General Cleaners, Warehouse and Trash Technicians for a logistics facility in Nashville, TN. The role pays $15.50/hour with shifts 6a-2p and 2p-10p, starting ASAP.

Duties include cleaning restrooms, break rooms, and production areas, plus trash collection and disposal, with heavy walking and lifting required. This position requires composite toe shoes/boots, reliability, and the ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
• Previous janitorial or custodial experience is a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand, walk, bend, and push/pull carts for extended periods.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.

Responsibilities

• Collect and remove trash and recycling from designated areas throughout the facility.
• Replace trash liners and clean waste receptacles as needed.
• Transport waste to designated disposal and recycling areas.
• Maintain cleanliness of docks, break rooms, restrooms, offices, and production areas.
• Respond promptly to spill cleanup and other housekeeping needs.
• Operate trash compactors, balers, and other equipment safely (if trained and authorized).
• Follow all Amazon site safety policies and company procedures.
• Report safety hazards, damaged equipment, or maintenance issues to supervisors.
• Maintain inventory of trash bags and cleaning supplies.
• Work effectively with team members and supervisors to meet daily cleaning schedules.
