Job summary

Office Depot is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support distribution operations in Romulus, MI. You will perform order filling, packing, shipping, and receiving as assigned, while ensuring safety and quality standards are met.

The role requires basic English communication, math, and computer skills, with the ability to lift up to 150 pounds. Previous warehouse experience and flexibility with shifts are a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Basic English communication skills (verbal and written).
• Basic math skills (counting, addition, subtraction).
• Basic computer skills and ability to use Microsoft Word/Excel.
• Experience with warehouse tasks and equipment a plus.
• Ability to lift 70–150 lbs regularly and work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform distribution-related tasks such as checking, picking, packing, replenishment, stocking, shipping or receiving.
• May operate a pallet jack to move products.
• Contribute to a safe work environment with strong housekeeping and safety practices.
• Collaborate with supervisors and teams to complete tasks.
• Participate in process improvements for distribution operations.
• Work in a metric-driven, fast-paced setting.
