Job summary

UPS seeks a dedicated supervisor to train and oversee package handlers and clerks, focusing on safety, productivity, and timely task completion. The role emphasizes leadership, quality coaching, and adherence to UPS standards.

The incumbent will coordinate training, monitor performance, and ensure daily operations align with company policies and customer expectations, while maintaining a positive team environment.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift 70 lbs/32 kg
• Availability to work flexible shift hours, up to 5 days per week
• Strong problem solving and multitasking abilities
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Bachelor's Degree or international equivalent - Preferred
• Management experience - Preferred

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains good working relationships with employees, management and customers.
• Facilitates training with new and current employees.
• Conducts and participates in group meetings.
• Coordinates evaluations with management.
• Determines best solutions for package concerns.
• Supervises daily activities of package handlers and clerks to ensure all assigned duties are accomplished safely and timely.
• Understands and demonstrates UPS's ethics and code of conduct.
