Job summary

NRI is seeking a proactive Trainer to be the face of our warehouse team, delivering training on all functions, SOPs, safety, and quality, and mentoring new employees to foster a strong, collaborative culture. The ideal candidate is approachable, an active listener, and can explain topics in an engaging, practical way.

Bilingual in Spanish and English is a MUST; proficiency with Microsoft 365 to create training materials is expected. Location: 3591 Volunteer Blvd, Henderson, NV 89044.

Qualifications

• 12+ months of training experience in a warehouse environment.
• Proficient with Microsoft 365 (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel, SharePoint).
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a MUST.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs., walk/stand for extended periods, climb ladders/stairs, tolerate dust/noise/heat/cold.

Responsibilities

• Provides and coordinates training for new hires and existing employees to ensure training is delivered and evaluated for consistency.
• Coach, counsel, and inspire employees to meet and exceed performance metrics.
• Assist in creating training programs by assessing gaps, objectives, and SOP changes.
• Exhibit positive communications and team-building with trainees.
• Complies with safety policies; reports unsafe activities.
• Maintain a training log and training documentation.
• Keeps work areas safe, clean, and tidy.
• Performs other duties as requested.

TheTrainer is to be a mentor to all new employees and helps create and demonstrate NRI team spirit.

The ideal candidate is an accessible and approachable individual who is an active listener and has the creativity to explain topics in a fun and engaging way. This person is patient and can adapt their training delivery style according to how the learners are responding.

The Following Schedule Are Available For This Role

Monday - Friday: 3:30 pm - 12:00 am @ $20.50/hr

The Must Haves:

• Must have 12+ months of training experience, preferably in a warehouse environment.
• Must be proficient with or willing to learn Microsoft 365 (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel, and SharePoint).
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a MUST
• Must have physical ability to carry out essential job functions, including but not limited to, the ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs., walking and standing for extended periods, climbing ladders/stairs, ok with heights in elevated areas and tolerating conditions such as dust, dirt, noise, odors, heat, cold, etc.
• Must be able to read/comprehend English

Things You Will be Doing

• Providesand coordinates training for a new hireand existingNRI employeesto ensuretraining is delivered andevaluated for consistency
• Coach, counsel, and inspire employees to not only meet but exceed requiredperformance metrics
• Aidsin creating training programs by assessingskill/knowledge gaps, training objectives,work situations, changes in trainingSOP’s along withcontinuous improvement projects
• Exhibit and practice positive communications and team-building skills with trainees to ensurea consistently professional environment
• Complies with all safety policies, practices, and procedures. Reports all unsafe activities tothe supervisor or and Safety Manager
• Maintain a training log and all training documentation
• Keeps work and storage areas in a safe, clean, and tidy conditionat all times
• Performs other duties as requested
