Job summary

Norco, Inc. in Boise, Idaho, is seeking a Production Technician to handle loading/unloading of cylinders and freight, safely fill gases, and follow all procedures and regulations. You will also determine weights, load within limits, and maintain neat production records.

The role requires reliability and attention to safety. Starting pay is $20 per hour, with opportunities to contribute to a market-leading gas distribution team.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. on a frequent basis.
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
• Attention to detail required, must keep neat and accurate records.
• Ability to accuratelyenter data into computer and acquire a working knowledge of any softwareapplications applicable to the position.
• Previous knowledge of cylinders and gases is a plus.
• Mechanical aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks, move freight and return goods and cylinders to proper holding and storage areas.
• Determine weights of cylinders and freight on orders to be loaded on each truck/trailer.
• Load trucks/trailers so that applicable weight limits are not exceeded. Load, unload, andhandle all materials so that it is not damaged while loading, unloading, or during transport.
• Fill industrial and medical grade gases into cylinders following all established procedures,keeping neat and accurate records as necessary.
• Perform other tasks as assigned or necessary.

Job description

Norco is currently seeking an individual to fill ourProduction Technician position. The Production Technician is responsible for the loading and unloading of cylinders/freight from trucks, filling cylinders with compressed and liquefied gases safely, and following all established procedures and regulations. Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
