NORCO INC is seeking a Full-time Medical Non-CDL Route Delivery Driver in Meridian, Idaho. The role involves delivering DME equipment and oxygen to home care patients, setting up and retrieving equipment, and educating patients on proper use. Valid driver’s license and ability to lift heavy items are required.

Schedule is 4/10-hour shifts Friday through Monday from 7am to 6pm with a one-hour lunch. Competitive benefits are offered, including ESOP and insurance options.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift and/or carry objects weighing up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 100 lbs. occasionally.

• Familiar with oxygen-related regulations and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Deliver DME equipment and home care supplies to patients on assigned routes.
• Deliver liquid and compressed gaseous oxygen to delivery points.
• Set up and pick up equipment at patient locations.
• Protect patient PHI per HIPAA regulations.
• Retrieval of rental items and proper handling in the rental return area.
• Provide patient orientation on proper use of equipment and safety.

Norco is currently seeking an individual to fill ourMedical Non-CDL Route Delivery Driver position.TheMedical Non-CDL Route Delivery Driver is responsible for the delivery, set-up and pick up of DME equipment, supplemental oxygen products and supplies to home care patients within a prescribed and assigned geographical area. Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Efficiently organizedelivery route on a daily basis


• Deliver liquid and compressed gaseous oxygen to specified points of delivery


• Deliver durable medical equipment, as well as other home care related equipment to specific points of delivery


• Protect patient PHI per HIPAA regulations


• Handle the retrieval of rental return items and their proper handling and placement into the designated rental return area


• Provide patient/client orientation instructing on the proper use of equipment


• Work with patients/clients to solve a variety of problems, thereby acting as a company field representative


• Schedule: 4/10hr shifts Friday through Monday, 7am-6pm with an hour lunch


• Perform other tasks as assigned or necessary


• Wage $21-$22/Hr DOE

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent


• No at fault accidents in the past 3 years


• Good organizational skills


• Ability to lift and/or carry objects weighing up to 50 lbs. frequently and occasionally weighing over 100 lbs


• Ability to accuratelyenter data into computer and acquire a working knowledge or any software applications necessaryto the position


• Familiar with all FDA regulations as they pertain to oxygen


• Familiar with required accreditation policies and procedures as they pertain to delivery driver related activities and customer/staff safety


• Valid Driver's License
