Job summary

VCI Construction, LLC. is seeking a Warehouse Technician to manage receipt, storage, and distribution of goods, ensuring orders are filled accurately and inventory is tracked.

You will handle packing, shipping, and stock organization while following safety guidelines. A forklift/pallet jack background and basic computer skills are preferred, with overtime and on-call duties as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent work experience.
• Able to pass a DOT physical exam and obtain a valid medical card.
• Experience operating a forklift and pallet jack preferred.
• Valid State driver’s license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Prepare orders for shipment according to pick tickets and customer requirements.
• Check and verify inventory to ensure stock availability.
• Notify the Supervisor of shortages and packaging material restocking needs.
• Package and ship products according to packaging guidelines and practices.
• Stock shelves in the warehouse and put away new materials.
• Organize pick tickets and cross-check with packing slips and work orders.
• Receive, unload, and inspect shipments; confirm accuracy with packing slips and POs.
• Operate dolly, pallet jack, and/or forklift for loading/unloading materials.
• Work overtime, travel, and perform on-call/afterhours responsibilities as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
