Job summary

VCI Construction is seeking a Warehouse Technician to manage receipt, storage, and distribution of goods. You will fill orders accurately, track inventory, and follow safety and packaging guidelines while handling equipment to support the team.

Responsibilities include preparing shipments, verifying stock, organizing tickets, and operating warehouse equipment. A valid US driver’s license and DOT medical card are preferred, with forklift experience a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Authorized to work in the United States for this company.
• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent work experience.
• Valid state driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to pass a DOT medical exam and obtain a valid medical card.
• Experience operating forklift and pallet jack preferred.
• Basic knowledge of computer and inventory control systems.

Responsibilities

• Prepare orders for shipment according to pick tickets and customer requirements.
• Check and verify inventory to ensure availability of needed stock.
• Notify Supervisor of shortages and restocking needs.
• Package and ship products according to guidelines.
• Stock shelves and put away new materials.
• Organize pick tickets and cross-check with packing slips and work orders.
• Receive, unload, and inspect shipments; confirm accuracy with packing slips and PO’s.
• Operate dolly, pallet jack, and/or forklift for loading/unloading.
• Work overtime, travel, and perform on-call/afterhours responsibilities as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
