Job summary

MEI Industrial Solutions in Fredericksburg, VA seeks a Warehouse Associate to prepare orders for storage and organize the warehouse by customer specifications. You will move, stock, scan, secure, and record inventory using hand and power tools and equipment.

Some locations may require custodial or detailing tasks. You may fuel trucks, offload equipment, and secure loads on trailers, while maintaining logs and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Requires a valid driver’s license; CDL helpful but not required.
• HS Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Strong English reading/writing; keep legible logs in English.
• Basic reading and math skills; ability to use measurements and calculations.
• Able to safely operate hand, power, pneumatic tools, and tape measure.
• Must be able to work independently and in a team.
• Overtime/weekend work may be required.

Responsibilities

• Fuel diesel trucks arriving to the warehouse and log fuel dispensing.
• Move or reposition trucks as needed upon return to the warehouse.
• Wash/clean, detail tractors, trailers, forklifts, and company vehicles.
• Secure the facility and log movement of personnel and goods.
• Assist in constructing crates and storage containers with pneumatic tools.
• Adhere to safety practices for self and others.
• Housekeeping and custodial duties in the warehouse.
