Job summary

MEI Rigging & Crating in Fort Worth, TX, is seeking a Warehouse Associate to prepare orders, move and secure inventory, and maintain warehouse organization. You will operate hand, power, and pneumatic tools and assist in crates, with occasional custodial tasks and detailed records.

The role requires physical work, forklift operation, and adherence to safety practices. Overtime and weekend work may be required; CDL may be helpful but not required.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with clean record; CDL helpful but not required.
• 2 years crane rigging experience preferred.
• NCCCO Certification preferred.
• HS Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Good English for logs and records.
• Basic reading and math skills.
• Safe use of hand, power, and pneumatic tools; read tape.
• Able to problem-solve, work independently, self-motivated.
• Familiarity with equipment operation incl. transmissions and pneu/hydraulic tools.
• Customer-oriented demeanor; teamwork; overtime/weekend sometimes required.

Responsibilities

• Fuel diesel trucks arriving at the warehouse and log fuel dispensing.
• Move or reposition trucks upon return to the warehouse.
• Wash and detail tractors, trailers, forklifts, and company vehicles.
• Secure facility and log movement of personnel.
• Assist in building crates and custom storage containers.
• Adhere to safety practices for self and others.
• Housekeeping duties: sweeping, trash, bathrooms, break room.
• Move machinery with forklifts, pallet jacks, or other equipment.
• Verify incoming equipment; offload, inspect, and log.
• Retrieve stored machinery for load out on trailers or company vehicles.
• Tie down and secure loads on trailers.
• Perform inventory and inventory control; maintain inventory records.
• Assist riggers and field personnel with equipment/tools as needed.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
