Job summary

VCI Construction, LLC is seeking a Warehouse Technician in California to manage receipt, storage, and distribution of goods. You will prepare orders, verify inventory, and ensure accurate packing while operating forklifts and pallet jacks.

You’ll work with safety guidelines, pack and ship products, and handle loading/unloading with dolly and forklift. On-call duties and overtime may apply; a high school diploma or GED is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or relevant work experience.
• Valid State driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Ability to pass a DOT physical exam and obtain a medical card.
• Experience operating forklift and pallet jack preferred.
• Basic knowledge of inventory control systems.

Responsibilities

• Prepare orders for shipment according to pick tickets and customer requirements.
• Check and verify inventory to ensure stock availability.
• Notify the Supervisor of shortages and packaging material restocking needs.
• Package and ship products according to packaging guidelines and practices.
• Stock shelves in the warehouse and put away new materials.
• Organize pick tickets and cross-check them with packing slips and work orders.
• Receive, unload, and inspect shipments; confirm accuracy with packing slips and purchase orders.
• Operate dolly, pallet jack, and/or forklift for loading and unloading materials.
• Work overtime, travel, and perform on-call/afterhours responsibilities as needed.
• Other duties as assigned
