Job Overview
The Warehouse Technician is responsible for performing industrial shrink wrapping, receiving and managing incoming materials, and maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient warehouse environment. This role collaborates closely with warehouse and shop managers to support daily operations, including unloading deliveries, processing materials through the warehouse management system, and delivering orders to designated workstations. Performs related work as required.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
- Perform industrial shrink wrapping of equipment and materials using approved tools and techniques to ensure secure transport and storage.
- Unload trucks and verify incoming shipments against documentation using the warehouse management system.
- Check in and label materials accurately upon arrival.
- Sweep, clean, and organize the warehouse and shop areas to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
- Work directly with shop managers to fulfill material orders and deliver them to appropriate workstations in a timely manner.
- Assist with general warehouse operations, including packaging, staging, and inventory handling.
- Follow all safety policies and procedures when operating equipment and handling materials.
Minimum Education & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience with industrial shrink wrapping or warehouse operations preferred.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems and inventory control processes.
- Forklift certification is a plus or willingness to obtain.
Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations
- Obtain OSHA 30 Hours within the first year.
- Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.

- Ability to adapt to a changing work schedule, including occasional weekends or overtime.
- Heavy lifting may be involved.
Environmental and Physical Requirements
- Prolonged standing, walking, bending, climbing, reaching.
- Regularly lift 50 pounds and occasionally more.
- Must be able to bend, stretch, kneel, and crouch.
- Work in various weather and temperature conditions.

- PPE (hard toe boots, hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, hi-vis vest, harness)
- Pallets, pallet jack, wrap, loan straps
