Job Description:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Utilize a voice-activated Vo Collect headset system to determine item locations and proper quantities of items to be selected.
2. Drive powered industrial equipment such as an electric pallet jack in a safe and efficient manner to item locations that are relayed via the headset. Training and certification through Weis Markets will be provided.
3. Complete pre-operation inspection and all associated documentation prior to operating equipment and submit completed documentation to maintenance.
4. Place and organize products on pallets in a stable and efficient manner for shipment.
5. Visually inspect products for damage or improper packaging and secure products with shrink wrap for safe delivery to retail locations.
6. Responsible for promoting and maintaining a safe, efficient, clean, and effective work environment while complying with all Weis Markets, federal, state, local, OSHA regulations, and laws.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This associate has no direct supervisory responsibilities.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

Working towards completion of a high school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required.
