Job summary

TestEquity is seeking a Warehouse Technician II in Austin, TX to perform order picking, receiving, and shipping in a high-volume environment. The role requires teamwork, problem solving, and attention to detail to support multiple areas of warehouse operations.

The ideal candidate will have IATA/CFR49 certification, forklift training, OSHA/EH&S knowledge, and 2+ years of warehouse experience, with the ability to read/write English and work independently or as part of a team.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• IATA and CFR49 Certificate of completion.
• Forklift certification and training for all types.
• Knowledge of OSHA and EH&S requirements.
• 2+ years warehouse operations experience.
• Experience with creating statements of work (SOW).
• Experience in inventory management systems, preferably in a chemical or industrial setting.
• Ability to read/write in English.

Responsibilities

• High accuracy in order picking, shipping and receiving of materials.
• Maintain 5S (sort, straighten, shine, standardize, and sustain).
• Cross train other employees as required.
• Operate all necessary warehouse equipment per safety SOPs.
• Follow ISO 9001 Quality standards and OSHA/EH&S guidelines.
• Comply with DOT regulations.
• Facilitate two-way communication with coworkers and supervisors to ensure customer satisfaction.
