Job summary

TestEquity in Houston, TX is seeking a Warehouse Technician II to perform order pulling, receiving, shipping, and labeling in a high-volume facility. You will support training of team members and cover all warehouse operations as needed.

Ideal candidates have a HS diploma or GED, OSHA/EH&S knowledge, 2+ years in warehouse operations, forklift certification, and experience with inventory systems. Strong communication, problem-solving, and the ability to multi-task are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required
• IATA and CFR49 Certificate of completion
• Forklift certification and training for all types
• Knowledge of OSHA and EH&S requirements
• 2+ years warehouse operations experience in industrial/electronics/aerospace distribution
• Experience with creating statements of work (SOW)
• Experience in inventory management systems in chemical/industrial settings
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Attention to detail and ability to multi-task
• Computer literate in MS Word and Outlook; working knowledge of shipping and receiving software
• Ability to read/write in English is required
• Warehouse management system experience (TWL with RF gun preferred)

Responsibilities

• High accuracy in order picking, shipping and receiving of hazardous and non-hazardous materials
• 5S: sort, straighten, shine, standardize, sustain
• Cross-train other employees as required
• Operate warehouse equipment per safety procedures
• Follow ISO 9001 quality standards and OSHA/EH&S guidelines
• Comply with DOT regulations
• Follow SOPs and SOWs
• Facilitate two-way communications with coworkers and supervisors for customer satisfaction
• Indirectly responsible for product quality
• Adhere to code of conduct and report misconduct
• Other duties as assigned
