Job summary

TestEquity Llc in Houston, TX is seeking a Warehouse Technician I responsible for order pulling, receiving, shipping, packaging, labeling, and inventory tracking. The role requires maintaining safety standards, compliance with HazMat and DOT/IATA requirements, and supporting ISO quality assurance.

The position calls for 2+ years in warehousing within industrial or semiconductor sectors, forklift certification, and proficiency with MS Word/Outlook; TWL/WMS and RF gun experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years warehousing experience in an industrial, semiconductor, and/or distribution industry.
• WMS experience (TWL) with an RF gun is preferred.
• 2+ years inventory processing, cycle counting and reconciliation.
• HazMat Certified or willing to complete the necessary training within 90 days of hire.
• May be required to possess a valid driver’s license and be subject to periodic DMV checks.
• Organizational skills, attention to detail, and sense of urgency.
• Computer literacy in MS Word and Outlook; working knowledge of shipping and receiving software.

Responsibilities

• Accuracy in order pulling, shipping, and receiving of hazardous and non-hazardous materials
• Prepares freight bills and monitors accuracy of completion
• Works closely with freight carriers and delivery services to ensure on-time delivery
• Ensures orders are shipped to proper customer location
• Monitors bin locations, shelf life and FIFO, inventory counting and cycle counts
• Must maintain valid forklift operation certificate
• Must maintain HazMat and IATA certifications where applicable
• Adheres to ISO quality assurance processes
• Responsible for preventive maintenance and safety incident reporting
• Facilitates two-way communications with coworkers and supervisory personnel
• Wears appropriate safety gear and monitors warehouse safety
• Maintains good attendance and punctuality
• Other duties as assigned
