Watchmaker Genomics is seeking a Warehouse Technician I to join our Boulder onsite team. You will receive materials, help manage inventory levels and Kanban, and prepare customer orders with accuracy and speed.

This entry‑level role requires a High School diploma or GED and at least two years in warehousing, plus a Colorado driver's license. You will thrive in a fast‑paced environment and support continuous improvement in warehouse processes.

Qualifications

• At least two years of warehousing or material handling experience.
• Colorado driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to work with multiple and competing deadlines.
• Sound judgment and problem-solving skills.
• Flexibility to work irregular hours, including weekends when required.
• Basic written and verbal communication skills.
• Practical experience with computer software.

Responsibilities

• Receive inventories according to policies and procedures.
• Support shipping of orders in a timely manner according to ship dates.
• Maintain and update inventory databases as part of cycle count activities.
• Keep dock and shipping areas clean, safe, and presentable.
• Occasionally drive to pick up orders or supplies.
• Update and maintain warehouse work instructions.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of warehouse processes.
• Ensure waste containers are maintained and emptied when needed.
• Assist with Kanban ordering and maintenance.
• Perform kitting functions as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

Watchmaker is inviting applications for the full-time position of Warehouse Technician I.

This position reports to the Logistics Manager and will be responsible for receiving incoming materials, inventory control, and shipping customer orders. This individual will be accountable for ensuring materials are processed quickly and help manage inventory levels and Kanbans.

Responsibilities

• Receive inventories according to policies and procedures.
• Support shipping of orders in a timely manner, according to ship dates.
• Maintain and update inventory databases as part of cycle count activities.
• Maintain dock and shipping areas to be clean, safe, and presentable at all times
• Occasionally drive to pick up orders or supplies.
• Update and maintain all warehouse work instructions.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of the processes and procedures in the warehouse functions.

Skills And Requirements

The candidate should have at least two years of relevant warehousing or material handling experience.

Compensation

The base compensation for the Warehouse Technician I role starts at $56,000-59,000 + bonus + equity; actual pay will be adjusted based on skills and experience. Employees are eligible for Flexible Time Off, Holidays, employer covers 75% of base medical plan with buy-up options, EAP (employee assistance program), employer paid dental with a buy-up option, employer paid vision, employer paid $25,000 life/AD&D policy, paid parental leave, and a 401(k) retirement plan with a 4% match.
