Job summary

Sterling Computers Corporation is seeking a warehouse technician to assist with shipping, receiving, and organizing goods. The role includes installing custom images on multiple computers, assembling component kits, and enrolling systems for software updates.

You will label assets and perform BIOS configurations to meet customer standards. The job requires hands-on experience with computer components, ability to handle physical work, and capability to work under minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree or 2+ years of computer repair experience preferred.
• Forklift Operator Certificate preferred.
• Working knowledge of computer components to assemble/disassemble a wide variety of computers is a must.

Responsibilities

• Participate in all aspects of shipping, receiving, organizing, and storing of goods in the warehouse.
• Manage installation of custom images on several computers simultaneously.
• Kit and assemble custom component packages.
• Enroll computer systems into online systems for software downloads, update OS or firmware updates.
• Install asset tracking labels or BIOS configurations to meet customer standards.
• Work with limited supervision daily.
• Perform inventory counts and audits as needed.
• Collect and record data to ensure quality standards meet project objectives.
