Job summary

Sterling Computers Corporation is seeking a warehouse technician to assist with shipping, receiving, and organizing goods. The role includes installing custom images on multiple computers, assembling component kits, and enrolling systems for software updates.

You will label assets and perform BIOS configurations to meet customer standards. The job requires hands-on experience with computer components, ability to handle physical work, and capability to work under minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree or 2+ years of computer repair experience preferred.
• Forklift Operator Certificate preferred.
• Working knowledge of computer components to assemble/disassemble a wide variety of computers is a must.

Responsibilities

• Participate in all aspects of shipping, receiving, organizing, and storing of goods in the warehouse.
• Manage installation of custom images on several computers simultaneously.

• Ability to perform data collection and recording to ensure quality standards meet the objectives of the project

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Associate degree or minimum of two years’ computer repair experience preferred
• Ability to operate material handling equipment – Forklift Operator Certificate preferred
• A working knowledge of different computer components to assemble and disassemble a wide variety of computers a must

Work Environment/Physical Demands:

• Sitting for extended periods of time in a climate-controlled office environment.
• Must have a positive attitude and be very detail oriented
• Extended periods of time utilizing hand tools needed to repair computers.
• Able to move quickly to meet warehouse demands
• Must be able to lift to 50-75 lbs. repetitively
• Must clear criminal background check and drug test
• Moderate travel may be required
