Job summary

ALS is seeking a Warehouse Tech to support storage, retrieval, and shipping of pulp samples, ensuring strict control of movements and adherence to SOPs. You will operate a forklift, manage inventory records, and perform local deliveries as needed.

The role requires attention to detail, teamwork, and strong English communication in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include preparing shipments, tracking samples, conducting safety checks, and assisting with daily reporting.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 diploma preferred.
• Current driver’s license with clean driving history.
• Forklift license and experience operating a forklift.
• Minimum two years of warehouse/shipping & receiving experience.
• Strong English communication, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Prepare packaging for outgoing shipments of pulp samples and rejects with proper protection.
• Sort and locate pulp and rejects in the warehouse using forklift.
• Maintain accurate data entry and inventory control for sample rejects and pulps.
• Coordinate storage, disposal and return of samples to clients in a timely manner.
• Conduct local deliveries and pickups as needed.
• Oversee vehicle inspection logs and housekeeping of the warehouse.
