Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Operates warehouse equipment (e.g., forklift, hand trucks, pallet jacks) to move items safely.
• Ensure customer orders are correct and assist customers promptly.
• Maintain relationships with truck drivers and customers to ensure needs are met.
• Safely lift, push, pull, and lower up to 450 lbs. barrels of lubricants.
• Maintain quantities of bulk oil and notify supervisor of discrepancies.
• May fill in for city Delivery Driver.

The Opportunity

The Warehouse Technician is responsible for maintaining required inventory levels ensuring specifications, quantity and quality of orders are correct; verifying stock and identifying losses; maintaining an organized warehouse layout; processes purchase orders; load outgoing freight; unload incoming freight; maintains records; and manages all returns. Position requires work inside as well as outside, including working in inclement weather.

Responsibilities

• Operates warehouse equipment (e.g., forklift, hand trucks, pallet jacks, etc.) for the purpose of moving large and heavy items safely and effectively
• Ensure customer orders are correct and assists customers in a timely and professional manner
• Maintains a viable relationship with truck drivers and customers to ensure needs are met at all times
• Safely lifts, pushes, pulls, and lowers up to 450 lbs. barrels of lubricants numerous times daily
• Maintains quantities of bulk oil and notifying supervisor of any discrepancies
• May be required to fill in for city Delivery Driver

Education

• High School Diploma or GED, preferred but not required

Requirements

• Ability and willingness to use safety glasses, safety shoes, and ear plugs
• 2+ years' experience working in a warehouse environment
• Valid Drivers License
• Ability to acquire DOT Medical Card prior to starting
• Proficient verbal and written communication skills
• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
• Ability to manage priorities and workflow
• Must be able to obtain Forklift certification within 3 months
• Physical ability to immediately respond to emergency situations
