Job summary

LandLocked Aviation Services is hiring a Warehouse Technician in Lake Charles, LA. This full-time, hourly role supports receiving, tagging, stocking and kit assembly for production, with a safety-first approach and potential forklift certification.

You will help maintain inventory accuracy, assist with shipping/receiving, and help keep the warehouse organized and compliant with procedures and schedules.

Qualifications

• Able to lift and move materials weighing up to 75 pounds.
• Stand and move around the warehouse for extended periods.
• Follow written and verbal instructions in English.
• Strong attention to detail for tagging, labeling and inventory records.
• Forklift experience preferred; willing to become forklift-certified.
• Reliable, adaptable and able to shift priorities as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Supply Chain Manager with receiving materials and verifying packing lists.
• Tag incoming items and stock shelves with proper labeling.
• Help compile and deliver kits for production based on kit lists.
• Support inventory management and conduct inventory checks.
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of the warehouse and block house.
• Operate a forklift safely to move and store materials.
• Prepare materials for outgoing shipments and assist with shipping/receiving.

LandLocked Aviation Services is looking for a hardworking, detail-oriented Warehouse Technician to support the flow, tagging, and organization of materials that keep our production teams supplied and on schedule.

Position Overview:

This is an entry-level, hourly position with a standard work schedule determined by the company. Occasional overtime will be required and may be mandated by the Supply Chain Manager based on operational needs. Flexibility in schedule may be required to support production demands, urgent shipments, or other time-sensitive supply chain activities.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Assist the Supply Chain Manager with receiving materials, verifying packing lists, and tagging all incoming items, particularly paint.
• Stock shelves with received materials, ensuring proper labeling and organization.
• Help compile and deliver kits for production based on provided kit lists.
• Support inventory management by maintaining accurate records and assisting with inventory checks.
• Contribute to the organization and cleanliness of the warehouse and block house.
• Operate a forklift safely and efficiently to move and store materials as needed.
• Monitor materials for shelf-life and report any concerns to the warehouse.
• Assist with shipping and receiving tasks, including preparing materials for outgoing shipments.
