We have an opening for a 1st shift Warehouse Technician responsible for receiving, verifying, storing, securing, locating, and shipping raw materials and finished goods inventories.

Minimum Requirements:

• Ability to follow instructions and communicate effectively in English
• Availability for regular overtime
• Ability to drive a forklift and perform moderate to heavy lifting

Major Job Functions:

1. Unload and load trucks efficiently using mechanical and manual means, verifying inventory and shipping/receiving forms.
2. Deliver raw materials and finished goods using hand or forklift trucks, and pick and palletize orders for shipment.
3. Record all receiving, inventory control, and warehousing transactions accurately and promptly.
4. Use current production and inventory control systems, including SAP, for order processing (domestic and export).

Work Environment:

• Moderately hazardous inside and outside work conditions.

Equipment Used:

• Forklift, order picker, high reach lift truck
• Hand trucks, pallet jacks
• Scales, foam machine, pallet wrapper
• CRT/PC, yard horse

Physical Requirements:

• Frequently perform medium and heavy work
• Infrequently perform very heavy work

Compensation:

The hourly pay for this temporary position is approximately $18.00 per hour.

Additional Information:

• Work based on verbal and written instructions with minimal supervision
• Adhere to safety rules and maintain a clean work area
• Participate in the 5S Program and cross-training in other warehouses
• Require forklift operation license and Hazmat training
• Subject to seasonal temperature extremes
• Perform other duties as assigned
