Nice Recovery Systems is seeking a Warehouse Technician to manage inbound/outbound materials in a regulated medical device facility in Boulder, CO. You will verify items, label and store them, and support production with timely material delivery.

Responsibilities include using ERP systems for picking and issuing materials, maintaining inventory accuracy, and assisting in packing, shipping, and kitting. Knowledge of GMP and traceability is essential.

Job description

The Warehouse Technician is responsible for the accurate and efficient movement, storage, and distribution of raw materials, components, and finished goods in a regulated medical device manufacturing environment. This role supports production, shipping, receiving, and inventory control functions while ensuring compliance with FDA, ISO 13485 and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Receive incoming materials, verify against packing slips and purchase orders, and inspect for accuracy and damage.
  • Accurately label and store materials in accordance with inventory control procedures and lot traceability requirements.
  • Pick, stage, and issue materials for production work orders using ERP or inventory management systems.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and perform routine cycle counts; report discrepancies promptly.
  • Assist in kitting components for manufacturing work orders and ensure timely delivery to the production floor.
  • Safely operate material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, carts, forklifts - if certified).
  • Pick, pack and ship finished goods in compliance with company standards to ensure accuracy and prevent product damage or loss.
  • Ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment to support customer on-time delivery targets.
  • Assist in resolving inventory discrepancies, nonconforming material issues, or mislabeling concerns.
  • Keep warehouse and work areas organized, clean, and compliant with 6S, LEAN, and GMP guidelines.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Production, Quality, and Procurement to ensure timely material availability.
SECONDARY RESPONSIBILITES:
  • Support Production and Service teams with disposal and recycling of scrap materials, including metals and electronics.
  • Support Operations with basic facility maintenance needs including simple cleaning and repair as required.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

This position has no direct supervisor responsibilities.

COMPETENCIES/SKILLS:
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Familiarity with inventory systems and ERP software (e.g., Oracle, NetSuite, SAP).
  • Ability to read and interpret work orders, pick lists, packing slips, and inventory labels.
  • Understanding of FIFO, lot control, and traceability practices.
  • Basic math and computer skills; ability to use barcode scanners, printers and spreadsheets.
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 1+ year of experience in warehouse, inventory control, or material handling, preferably in a manufacturing or regulated environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in medical device, biotech, or pharmaceutical industries.
  • Familiarity with FDA, ISO 13485, or cGMP standards.
  • Forklift certification or experience with powered industrial trucks.
  • Experience with ERP systems and material traceability processes.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., stand for extended periods, and work in both warehouse and light manufacturing environments.
