Job summary

DAP is seeking Warehouse Technicians at the Baltimore Distribution Center to support efficient order fulfillment and accurate inventory control.

You will use RF scanners, build pallets to DAP standards, and contribute to cycle counts while maintaining a safe, clean work environment in line with DC policies and guidelines.

Starting pay is $18.74 per hour with competitive benefits and opportunities for growth within the company.

Qualifications

• Experience in a warehouse environment.
• Ability to safely operate a walkie-rider and pallet jack after training.
• Ability to read information from RF devices and the Manhattan system.

Responsibilities

• Utilize RF scanner and unit to read information from the Manhattan system to pull cases of finished goods from the designated bin location.
• Build pallets according to DAP standards including layout, pallet requirements, labeling, wrapping and loading.
• Assist in maintaining accurate inventory through RF devices, accurate counts, and reporting of discrepancies and damaged product; participate in physical inventories.

This position supports the operation of the Distribution Center through efficient execution of a variety of duties such as accurate order picking, safety and quality audits, UPS, reclaim/rework and housekeeping, cycle counting and general warehousing duties as needed or required.

Responsibilities:

Utilize RF scanner and unit to read information from the Manhattan system to pull cases of finished goods from the designated bin locationBuild pallets according to DAP standards in terms of layout, pallet requirements, labeling, wrapping and loadingAssists in maintaining an accurate inventory through proper utilization of RF devices, accurate counts, and recording/reporting of all discrepancies and damaged product. Assist in physical inventoriesMaintains a safe work environment ensuring that all DC policies and practices are followed. Upholds an acceptable level of housekeeping in all areas of responsibilityAbides by all DC safety rules and regulationsWorks in other areas as required by business needs.

Requirements:

Previous experience in a warehouse environmentAbility to safely operator a walkie-rider and pallet jack after training completionAbility to operate RF scannerAbility to lift up to 50 lbs consistently throughout the scheduled work dayMust be able to stand and/or walk for the entire scheduled shiftExcellent communication skills and ability to work well with others
