Base pay range
$20.00/hr - $21.00/hr
3 month contract
Pay: $20-21/hr
Duties:
- Operate inventory management and control systems to receive, supply, transfer, record cycle counts, and store materials/products while maintaining accurate inventories physically and systemically.
- Prepare expired and obsolete inventory for destruction.
- Receive and inspect raw materials, packaging, semi-finished, and finished products from suppliers or production, using inventory control systems and equipment like forklifts and pallet jacks, ensuring accurate real-time data entry into SAP.
- Perform accurate data entry into SAP for inventory transactions, adhere to FEFO policy, and ensure proper handling of expired materials and departmental debits.
- Label materials and products received, package pallets or containers properly, and deliver materials to designated warehouses, including sampling requests.
- Order supporting materials such as labels and packing supplies.
- Transfer products or materials from inventory to other locations, documenting transactions following GDP regulations.
- Maintain work area cleanliness and organization across all warehouse locations.
- Stay trained and updated on quality systems like LOS.
- Navigate the SAP system effectively, including inventory queries, transfers, and data adjustments, using barcode scanners and printers.
Skills:
- Understanding of the metric system.
- Strong communication skills for quality checks and customer service.
- Intermediate knowledge of SAP, WCS, or similar ERP systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience operating pallet jacks, forklifts with certification.
- Attention to detail, organization, and teamwork skills.
- Basic knowledge of 5S principles.
- Inventory counting skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unaided.
- Availability to work at least one weekend per month on an 'On Call' basis.
Education:
- High School diploma or GED with 3-5 years of relevant warehouse or manufacturing experience.
- Willingness to undergo drug testing and physical assessment if required.
