Interstate Batteries in Texas is hiring a Warehouse Team Member I to accurately process receiving, transfers, picking, packing and shipping using RF scanners, forklifts, and warehouse systems.
You will load/unload batteries, restock, perform battery rotations, maintain safety, and support general warehouse duties while learning our processes. No experience required; a high school diploma and strong attention to detail are preferred; overtime may be required.

The Warehouse Team Member I has the ability to accurately and efficiently complete assigned distribution centre tasks using a variety of equipment including RF barcode scanning devices, material handling equipment - electric and manual pallet jacks, stand-up and sit-down forklifts, WMS applications, and other shipping applications.
Interacts professionally within the warehouse distributor team
Interacts professionally with all other departments and team members
Accountable for individual accuracy and commitment to learning from mistakes
Operates with integrity and demonstrates a positive attitude
Be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 lbs, without assistance and occassionally lifting up to 75lbs
Consistent walking or walking during shift
Repetitive taping of boxes
Overtime required as deemed necessary
Use of PPErequired
Exposed to battery warehouse conditions, such as exposure to moving equipment, mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals
