Interstate Batteries in Bridgeton, MO is hiring a Warehouse Team Member I to accurately and efficiently complete distribution center tasks using RF scanners, pallet jacks, forklifts and WMS applications.

No experience is required, though experience in warehouse operations is a plus. You will load/unload batteries, restock, handle tagging, dating and testing, and help maintain a safe, clean, and organized facility for shipping and receiving.

• Able to operate equipment with certification and safety in mind.
• Must be organized, and able to multi-task in a fast-paced warehouse.

Join us!**Purpose of Job:**The Warehouse Team Member I has the ability to accurately and efficiently complete assigned distribution center tasks using a variety of equipment including RF barcode scanning devices, material handling equipment - electric and manual pallet jacks, stand-up and sit-down forklifts, WMS applications, and other shipping applications.**Job Components:*** Accurately process system and manual transactions (receiving, transfer, pick, pack, ship)* Load and unload batteries* Restock batteries* Charge, clean, date and rewrap rotations* Charge, test, clean, and date adjustment batteries* Maintain a safe and clean warehouse environment* Accurately maintain warehouse reporting and claims* Operate a forklift and maintain a current certification* Properly tag pallets (for transfer, pick, pack, ship)* General warehousing duties (such as restocking shelves and housekeeping of assigned areas)* Ability to multi-task and/or quickly transition from one function/task to the next function/task* Other warehouse duties as assigned by warehouse distributor management**Qualifications:*** High school graduate* Written, interpersonal, and verbal communication skills* No experience required.
