Location:Onsite– Long Island City, NY

Competitive Compensation:$21.00 - 24.00hourly, depending on experience and qualifications.

Shift:Monday - Friday, 8 AM - 4:30 PM(hours may vary). Occasional overtime.

We are looking for a Warehouse Team Member for theSlab Gallery. This position will be based at our Long Island City, NY showroom,where we specialize in luxury tiles and slabs. The ideal candidate isexperienced in inbound/outbound operations, has strong forklift skills, and iscustomer-focused with a growth mindset. This hands-on leader will have strongproblem-solving skills and a collaborative nature.

Crafting Excellence: Your Responsibilities

• Practice and follow allrequired safety regulations.
  
• Keep equipment, tools, andworkspace in clean, safe working conditions.
  

• Safely and efficiently operatea forklift. On and off forklift multiple times per day.
  
• Safely unload containers ofslabs as a two-man team.
  
• Inspect and document qualitydetails of inbound materials.
  
• Move slabs safely within theSlab Gallery to support customer viewing appointments.
  
• Safely and accurately loadoutbound orders.
  
• Become familiar with partnumbers and material descriptions.
  
• Perform all duties as assignedby supervisor (including Process Leads).

Key Qualifications

• Must be able to work in the USwithout restriction or sponsorship.
  
• Effectively communicate skillsfor slab handling and warehouse processes.
  
• Must be at least 18 years old.
  

Preferred Qualifications

• 3 years’ relevant experience ina manufacturing, production, or warehousing environment.
  
• Forkliftexperience.
  
• High School degree or GEDpreferred.
  
• Experience in a warehousing,manufacturing, or distribution environment.
  
• Exposure to SAP or similaroperating systems.
  
• Lean manufacturing exposure.
  

Relationships & Contacts

• Reports to local Lead WarehouseTeam Member.
  
• Secondarily reports to Showroom Manager.
  
• Frequent contact with showroomstaff.
  
• Occasional contact withclients/customers.

Additional Requirements

• Physical Capability: Ability toperform the essential duties of the position with or withoutaccommodation. This position requires frequent standing, walking, bending,and reaching.
• Regularly lifting and handling 20-30 pounds, occasionally 50+ pounds.
  
• Safety Compliance: Follow allsafety policies and procedures.
  
• Reliability: Consistentattendance and work performance.
  
• Screening: Successfulcompletion of a drug screen and background check.

The hourly range for this position is $21.00 - $24.00. The specific hourly rate offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location. Available benefits include medical, dental, vision & 401k.
