Valor Oil is a third generation family owned full-line petroleum distributor providing fuel, additives, lubricants and diesel exhaust fluid (DEF) – as well as innovative, cost-saving services – to gas stations, convenience stores, and a wide variety of businesses in the commercial, industrial, marine, mining and farming sectors in Kentucky, Central Tennessee, Southern Indiana and Southern Illinois. Do you like making things better? Do you like a fast-paced environment? This position will be responsible for creating a positive environment while performing daily duties required safely to ensure order fulfillment to meet internal and external customer schedules.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

1. Double check that all blend sheets for lubes are correct and submitted at the time of blend.
2. Monitor lube stock levels to ensure adequate levels are maintained.
3. Maintain a clean and orderly warehouse.
4. Help to maintain truck fleet and forklift as needed.
5. Hands-on filling drums and pails of lubricants and additives.
6. Pick and stage orders for delivery partnering with Management and Sales to meet customer schedules.
7. Paint and set up lube and fuel tanks as needed.
8. Ensure that all race orders are double checked and signed off on a daily basis.
9. Conduct month-end physical inventories of lube, race fuel, bulk fuels, lube package inventories to ensure accuracy.
10. Work to ensure that the facility is clean and secure at all times.
11. Conduct weekly bulk inventories and participate in weekly inventory meetings.
12. Open to working weekends, if needed, when available.
13. Ensure that the back of the lot is orderly.
14. Recommend order requirements to meet customer needs.
15. Maintain the required inspections as assigned.
16. Load trucks for delivery and assist walk-in customers when necessary.
17. Proficiency in forklift operations.
18. Any and all other duties as assigned to meet management and customer needs.
19. Regularly lift objects 10-50 lbs, occasionally lift and/or move objects that weigh more than 100 lbs.
20. Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, and crouch.
21. Perform monthly facility inspections at the Florence location.
22. Assist with warehouse organization and cleanliness at other Valor facilities (Louisville, etc.).
23. Assist sales team with facilities stock levels.
24. Travel to other facilities when necessary.

Requirements:

1. Forklift experience.
2. CDL is a plus.
3. Ability to lift 25 pounds or more on a routine basis.
4. Mandatory CINDEX survey required before applying.
