Overview

As a Warehouse Team Member, you will play a crucial role that directly impacts the success of Chick‑fil‑A restaurants. Duties include unloading, picking and loading product at the Chick‑fil‑A Supply Charlotte Distribution Center in Kannapolis, NC.

Schedule

Split Shift: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday, from 7 AM to 5:30 PM (10‑hour days) until the work is done. The schedule will be assigned according to business needs; flexibility is needed during weekends, holidays, and rotating shifts.

Location

Lakeshore Corporate Park, Bldg #1, 2880 Stadium Dr, Kannapolis, NC 28083.

Pay

Starting at $21.25 per hour.

Responsibilities

As a Warehouse Associate, you are a key driver in the efficiency, organization, and cleanliness of the warehouse.

• Efficiency and Organization: On your feet, actively engaging in unloading, staging, picking and loading products.
• Safety First: Safely operating machinery such as forklifts and pallet jacks and keeping the warehouse clean and safe.
• Communication and Care: Connecting with care with everyone you come in contact with.

Required Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities)

• Extreme Temperature: Working in rotation through extreme temperatures (–10 °F to 100 °F) is required.
• Heavy Weights: Reach, bend, and stoop while lifting up to 65 pounds per case most of your shift; occasionally use mechanical assistance to move up to 2,000 pounds.
• Education: High School Diploma or GED.
• Proficient in English (reading, writing, and speaking): To safely follow verbal instructions, complete documentation and paperwork, and accurately interpret labels, pick lists, scanner prompts, signage, and company communications.

Preferred Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities)

• Experience working in a warehouse and/or material handling preferred; previous work in food distribution is a plus.
