Job Description

Job Type: Full-time

Job Summary: We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our team. The primary responsibilities of this role include picking and packing orders accurately and efficiently, as well as receiving and putting away merchandise in the warehouse. The ideal candidate will be reliable, organized, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Pick and pack orders according to picking lists and packing instructions with a high degree of accuracy.
• Utilize computers and technology to update order status and track inventory movement.
• Ensure that all picked items are correctly labeled and packaged for shipment, following company standards and procedures.
• Assist with receiving incoming merchandise, verify accuracy of shipments, and inspect for damages or discrepancies.
• Unload and put away received merchandise in designated storage locations within the warehouse.
• Organize and maintain inventory storage areas to ensure efficient space utilization and easy access to merchandise.
• Assist with regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies as needed.
• Assist with warehouse cleanliness and organization, including sweeping, organizing shelves, and disposing of packing materials.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily and weekly goals.
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines at all times to prevent accidents and injuries.
  
  

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment preferred.
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, hand trucks, and forklifts (if certified).
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in picking and packing orders.
• Basic computer skills and the ability to utilize technology to update order status.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions.
• Physical stamina and the ability to lift and move heavy objects repeatedly throughout the day.
