Job summary

Hollingsworth is seeking a warehouse supervisor to oversee floor staff, coordinate daily operations, and ensure compliance with safety standards. You will train and develop team members, collect operational data, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

The role requires strong leadership, effective communication, and the ability to adapt to changing workloads while maintaining high-quality output in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Processing Personnel: Manage the activities and responsibilities of all floor level employees (Order Filler- Container Repair- Forklift Operator- Material Handler-Switcher).
• Coordinate Daily Operations: Efficiently allocate resources and coordinate daily tasks.
• Ensure Procedure Compliance: Monitor adherence to all operational procedures by processing personnel.
• Training and Development: Facilitate training of new employees and retraining of existing staff to enhance flexibility and advancement opportunities.
• Data Collection and Reporting: Gather and report relevant data for operational analysis.
• Quality Inspections: Conduct inspections to ensure the quality of employees' work.
• Dispatch Duties: Handle dispatch responsibilities as required.
• Safety Prioritization: Maintain a strong focus on safety standards and practices.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify and recommend areas for operational improvement.
• Additional Duties: Perform other tasks as assigned.

• Computer Skills:Basic proficiency in computer operations.
• Attitude:Positive, reliable, and committed to timely task completion.
• Safety Knowledge:Basic understanding of state and federal safety regulations.
• Instruction and Delegation:Effective in giving clear instructions, delegating tasks, and adjusting priorities as needed.
