Responsibilities

  • Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials, products, and supplies.

  • Operate RF scanners to ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Forklift operation for loading/unloading and internal movement.
  • Coordinate inbound/outbound shipments with carriers and internal teams.
  • Assist with BOL and shipping documentation.
  • Ensure shipments are accurate and on schedule.
  • Maintain inventory records and perform cycle counts.
  • Investigate discrepancies and complete transfers/returns.
  • Generate reports and provide shipment information as needed.
  • Support accounting and supply chain with accurate paperwork.
  • Promote safety and Lean practices in daily work.

Description

We are seeking a Warehouse Coordinator Lead. The Warehouse Coordinator Lead is responsible for ensuring the accurate, efficient, and timely movement of materials throughout the warehouse and distribution operation. This role combines shipping, receiving, inventory control, material handling, and administrative responsibilities while serving as a key resource for maintaining inventory accuracy and operational excellence.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Warehouse Operations

  • Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials, products, and supplies.
  • Accurately process inbound and outbound transactions using ERP and warehouse management systems.
  • Pick, pack, stage, load, and ship customer and internal orders.
  • Operate RF scanners and scan guns to ensure inventory accuracy and traceability.
  • Load and unload trucks using sit-down and/or stand-up forklifts.
  • Transport materials safely throughout the warehouse and production areas.
  • Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments with carriers and internal departments.
  • Assist with Bill of Lading (BOL) and shipping documentation preparation.
  • Ensure all shipments are processed accurately and on schedule.

Inventory Control & Accuracy

  • Maintain accurate inventory records through ERP transactions and scanning procedures.
  • Perform cycle counts, inventory audits, and reconciliations.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, shortages, and damaged product issues.
  • Process returns, transfer transactions, and return authorizations (RAs).
  • Receive production output and complete system transactions promptly and accurately.
  • Maintain transfer logs and inventory movement records between locations.

Administrative & Systems Responsibilities

  • Utilize ERP systems to record inventory movements, receipts, shipments, and adjustments.
  • Generate reports and provide inventory and shipment information as required.
  • Maintain shipping, receiving, and inventory documentation.
  • Support accounting and supply chain teams by ensuring transaction accuracy and timely paperwork completion.
  • Use Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Outlook, and Word, to support operational reporting and communication.

Operational Support

  • Assist in coordinating daily warehouse priorities to ensure timely completion of work.
  • Support training and cross-training initiatives within warehouse operations.
  • Maintain warehouse organization and proper product storage locations.
  • Promote and support continuous improvement initiatives, including 5S and Lean practices.
  • Follow all safety procedures and company policies.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

  • 2. Minimum 3 years of experience in Warehouse/distribution operations.
  • 3. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, Excel, Word, Outlook and Share Point.
  • 4. Previous experience with ERP systems.
  • 5. Leadership or lead experience preferably in a warehouse operation a plus.
  • Forklift experience/certification, experience with stand-up forklift.
  • Scissors Lift or Order picker experience.
  • 8. Effective communication skills.
  • 9. Excellent organizational skills.
PHYSICAL

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl and climb. The employee must frequently lift or move items up to 10 pounds, occasionally lift 60 pounds and move items up to 300 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
